Door to Door Directions through the

Take the E40 autoroute west towards Gent (Gand). Prior to Gent, take the E17 south towards Kortrijk (Courtrai), Tourcoing and Lille (Ryjsel). Cross the French border, and continue on the A1 in the direction of Paris, by-passing Lille. Exit the A1 in the direction of Arras, and take the N50 for 12km until Arras, where you turn right at the first traffic lights at a roundabout, go through various traffic lights /roundabouts always following signs to Amiens & Doullens (note: do not take the route marked "Litoral"). From Arras, the N25 goes to Doullens. At Doullens, stay on the N25, through one set of traffic lights, to a roundabout, at which follow the signs to Abbeville/Auxi-le-Château. Pass through 3 more roundabouts, always in the direction of Abbeville /Auxi-le-Château. Less than 2 km west of Doullens, at the tiny village of Risquetout, take the Auxi-le-Château road (D938) until the village of Mezerolles, where there is a right turn to Remaisnil. After a kilometre, look for a private entrance on the left down a tree-lined avenue. |

Follow signs to Boulogne/Abbeville on the A16 autoroute. Take exit n° 22 to St.Riquier on the east of Abbeville and continue to St.Riquier on the D925. After St.Riquier, stay on the D925 in direction of Bernaville/Doullens. At Bernaville there is a sign indicating the Château de Remaisnil. Take this road, the D128 to Le Meillard. As you near the exit of Le Meillard, there is another sign to the Château de Remaisnil to the right. This road, the D266 goes to Mezerolles, where, at a T-junction, there are more signs indicating a left turn followed by a right turn 100 metres later. After a kilometre, look for a private entrance on the left down a tree-lined avenue. |

Via Autoroute A1. From the Paris périphérique, take the Autoroute A1 north (direction - Lille), past Charles de Gaulle airport. Take Exit #12 at Roye (pay toll), in the direction of Amiens (D934). Just before Amiens, follow signs indicating Calais until the signs indicate Amiens Nord, which will take the by-pass road north in the direction of Dunkerque/Arras/Doullens. On the north side of Amiens, exit from the by-pass on the N25 in the direction of Dunkerque/Doullens. At Doullens, stay on the N25, through one set of traffic lights, to a roundabout, and follow the signs to Abbeville/Auxi-le-Château. Pass through 3 more roundabouts, always in the direction of Abbeville /Auxi-le-Château. Less than 2 km west of Doullens, at the tiny village of Risquetout, take the Auxi-le-Château road (D938) until the village of Mezerolles, where there is a right turn to Remaisnil. Via Autoroute A16. From the centre of Paris, go west via the Porte Maillot, through La Défense, following the signs for Cergy-Pontoise. This involves close attention to the road signs. On the A15, just prior to Cergy-Pontoise, take the exit marked Amiens/Beauvais and A16, and follow these signs until the beginning of the A16 at l'Isle Adam. Stay on the A16 (toll) until the exit for Amiens Nord. Thereafter, follow the signs for Doullens and Dunkerque. At Doullens, stay on the N25, through one set of traffic lights, to a roundabout and follow the signs to Abbeville/Auxi-le-Château. Pass through 3 more roundabouts, always in the direction of Abbeville /Auxi-le-Château. Take the A2 (E35) towards Utrecht for approximately 45km. At Everdingen turn onto the A27 (E311) towards Breda for another 62 km. Turn onto the A16/E19 then pick up the A1 autoroute. After entering Belgium, at the E19-A12 turn left onto the R1(E19) towards Antwerp. At Antwerpen-Rechteroever take the A14(E17) towards Gent for about 100km. Keep following the E17/A22 route towards Lille until you cross the border into France (13km). Through Lille, follow the N356 and N351 to the A1 autoroute towards Arras. Exit the A1 in the direction of Arras, and take the N50 for 12km until Arras, where you turn right at the first traffic lights at a roundabout, go through various traffic lights /roundabouts always following signs to Amiens & Doullens (note do not take the route marked "Litoral").
