Directions to the Château de Remaisnil from

Brussels/Gent/Lille

Take the E40 autoroute west towards Gent (Gand). Prior to Gent, take the E17 south towards Kortrijk (Courtrai), Tourcoing and Lille (Ryjsel). Cross the French border, and continue on the A1 in the direction of Paris, by-passing Lille. Exit the A1 in the direction of Arras, and take the N50 for 12km until Arras, where you turn right at the first traffic lights at a roundabout, go through various traffic lights /roundabouts always following signs to Amiens & Doullens (note: do not take the route marked "Litoral"). From Arras, the N25 goes to Doullens. At Doullens, stay on the N25, through one set of traffic lights, to a roundabout, at which follow the signs to Abbeville/Auxi-le-Château. Pass through 3 more roundabouts, always in the direction of Abbeville /Auxi-le-Château. Less than 2 km west of Doullens, at the tiny village of Risquetout, take the Auxi-le-Château road (D938) until the village of Mezerolles, where there is a right turn to Remaisnil. After a kilometre, look for a private entrance on the left down a tree-lined avenue. Approximate Driving Times: Brussels Circular Road/Lille = 60 minutes Lille/Arras = 35 minutes Arras/Doullens = 25 minutes Doullens/Remaisnil = 10 minutes Total = 2h10 minutes.
